Introduction

In this workshop we're going to make a simple todo list app that will allow adding items to a list, crossing them, and maybe more if time allows! Along the way we'll learn about Ruby and possibly use some JavaScript code too.

If you've made your own web pages before using HTML before then that will come in handy, but if not we'll explain this on the day.

To save time on the day please get your laptop set up ready using the instructions below.

Setup for Windows

For Windows you'll need to install the Ruby language, some development tools, and have a good text editor detailed instructions »

Setup for Mac OS X

Recent versions of OS X include a new enough version of the Ruby language, so you'll just need to add some development tools and have a good editor ready to use detailed instructions »
